what I'm getting at is is that the negotiation with Wills and MD finished with?

My Lord I hope so!!!

Afraid not

If the condition about the club not being owed anymore monies proves false or is broken, then the contract is null and void and we are back to square one (either he pulls out or sits down with them again)

Sorry

but that is what conditional contracts are all about

but surely the HMRC will be aware of this takeover now so it'll be harder for wills/diamond mike to move the goalposts now.

the most important thing is that by putting pen to paper on a deal, wills and diamandis effectively can't fuck anything up further.

I hope you're right thats always been the main problem alledgedly

I'm just relieved I don't have to spend another day tomorrow constantly checking the internet for news; i better do some work before the hols kick in!

I'm reasonably confident all will be ok now; going to enjoy xmas and New Year and roll on January 11th/12th.

hey

I'm ok pete

I have had so many false dawns in my time, please accept my apologies for the belief of the saying in the movies,

I need to see his body here in front of me until I know he is dead

A cruel analogy maybe

but true none the less

Like I said, cautiously happy

Does this mean that all the people that said they would boycott Saturday will now conditionally attend?? Wink Mind you if this frost stays around we can all demonstrate outside because there wont be a game. :|

I'd imagine things will become clearer tomorrow, but this looks like a huge step forward to me... afterall this is what we've been waiting for all week, isn't it?

So, do we relax and let them get on with it or are we still on for protests at the weekend?

So,

Will Fitton and co clear the debts immediately, or will they wait for January 11th?

Somehow not as excited and pleased as I thought I'd be.
