could it be a deliberate attempt to stall the takeover so that it impacts into the jan transfer window thus condeming any new manager to a relegation dogfight and giving the present board the chance to sell off another star like iffil .

You always worry that they are trying to see it out until the transfer window opens in January.
I keep telling myself that it really isn't that way, because lets face it we wouldn't raise the required ££££ from player sales to keep the club afloat. But it might buy time to look to refinance again.
I'm paranoid.
