FAO Deano the fence fucker
I watched Rise of the Foot Soldier last night. I give it 7 out of 10.
Good cast, mediocre acting, plenty of footie violence, drugs, guns, knives & blood. The storyline let it down a bit for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a good solid storyline and the plot makes sense - but I just don't get why it was based on Carl as the main character. I have a book on Essex gangsters and the plot of this film is real. Its well fucked up reading in to it. All motivated by greed. Apparently Carlton Leach is out of the essex underworld now and trying to live a normal life. Married a stripper too. |
