Theres a rumour going around that part of Fitton's consortium and the wealthy famous person mentioned is none other than Sir Richard Branston. The link is that Branston's sister Vanessa is married to Fittons friend Robert Devereaux who owns a property near Ramsbury. What's your sauce? Took me a while I know, but it's all in the timing!

Haywards do a commendable range of pickles....although I've always had a problem with picalilli. What's it all about...generally seems to inhabit tables on Christmas day evening and is rubbish, sio nobody bothers the rest of the year
Apologies if I've offended any picalilli fans. yes, you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of the ultras picallili.

And in case anyone fancies a conspiracy theory. If it's Branson, this works. It's completely made up but hey.
Tozer being sold could be the payoff to get the Newbury mafia out. 1.1 Million pounds from Newcastle seems to be overpaying, but then again, who sponsors Newcastle? Northern Rock, who might not be too flush for cash at the minute, but who's bidding to take them over?
R.Branson
It's all a conspiracy!

Only a couple of minus points regarding Richard Branson (ston). yes he is local but I dont hink he can be classed as having any connections in sport TBH. The other minus point, he is a self confessed Poxford fan and doesnt live far from the Kass*m. link- http://www.ave-it.net/famous_oxford_united_fans.htm

I can't see it tbh. If it is true though then that's fantastic news should the deal go ahead.

I'm going to go out on a limb here but I prefer ham and pickle, I'm a maverick   'ckin imposters  S'right. If he was a genuine Maverick he'd have had a whole series of pickle-related questions he'd have been demanding answers to before he was prepared to give Fitton the time of the day. You can't beat the real deal!

You can't beat the real deal! Ain't that a fact ... and before that I would have asked a whole lot more about the alleged reality of ham and pickle being a part of any consortium in the first place! Come to think of it I would also have asked for a year's membership to the Pickle Trust for a £1, together with a complimentary copy of the "Chairman's Guide for Potential Busybodies"!! ... and then deliberately not joined!!
