so your going to cut him for being wrong/lying despite the fact in your first post you say it does go along with what you've heard.

my uncles dogs mate bob who looks after squirrles who cook breakfast for steven who makes films with jane who bought her underwear from donna who's milkman is mike who mother said we're going bust so I know more than everyone....or i'll hint at it despite the fact I dont have a clue really. I just want to pretend im ace and have sources

'I think that anyone can get this info straight from the court as soon as a petition is filed.' - bullshit. so anyone can just turn up and ask the judge?

Feel free not to believe me. I am surprised that the Swindon Advertiser have not contacted HMRCs press office though. - they would have done. ive checked HMRC press office and there is nothing there.

Which creditors have given the club more time? NOT H.M.R.C, that's for sure. They filed a Winding Up Petition against the club at the High Court last Friday.

Check that with the Court! - what bloody court? how did he check? did he ring up and ask?!

THIS IS A WIND UP PEOPLE!

Oh, and after reading that post again, he calls it the "Swindon Advertiser".

Iv'e always known it the evening advertiser or even "The adver".

He ain't from Swindon, my bet is that he is a pox fan on a wind up.

Hope your right then Fred can cut him

I promise you I will hunt the cunt down

FWIW There's a few ways to stop a WUP but my eyes started glazing over, so I'll leave it to you chaps that know business law.  Too fucking cold down here to think

Also FWIW nothing in the London Gazette at the moment:

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/SearchResults.aspx?pg=1&sb=date&GeoType=London&st=adv&FDay=7&FMth=12&FYr=2007&TDay=11&TMth=12&TYr=2007&all=winding%20up%20petition&exact=Swindon%20Town%20Football%20Club&

Although from what was posted by Ironside and redbullzeye on P.2 if the petition was served on the club on the 7th it would not appear before the 14th. If AF completes by Thursday 13th and all debts are settled prior to publication could this negate any WUP?

No doubt others with more knowledge can advise on that.

Somehow I feel that AF would not be wasting any more time on this if there was any danger of it going tits up.

Looks like Wednesday could be busy.

Someone needs to contact them just so we know whether this ossie bloke is on a wind up, plus it's important for us to know.

they'll probably say "oh, hello bob".
