This is an old clip, but sounds like Damon Hill possibly?



From searching around, lots of people claim to know someone who works for the BBC and they know who The Stig is  :-))(

Also, a lot of people claim there are more than one.

Not knowing who the stig is adds to the surprise and greatness of the show. If we knew who he was I think It would take the sparkle out the show.
