If you want bacon sarnies you'll be up. Otherwise you'll have a bit of bother finding me to get your ticket too.

Not really Birdy, I may as well cook bacon sarnies for all, especially seeing as I'll never get that KFC

Mmm jameson's bit of class there Birdy.....haven't had any for ages, used to be fairly regular to Hibernia, and would always pick some up duty free.

from the adver:-

SWINDON police are adopting a zero tolerance approach to today's crunch match between Town and Bristol Rovers.

The opposing sets of supporters from the west country have a history of violence, as our pictures above from last season's home and away clashes show.

Christmas last year saw fans throwing seats at each other as the animosity reached boiling point inside the County Ground.

advertisementBy the end of Town's 2-1 win, 11 fans had been arrested for assault, public order and drug offences.

Now Chief Insp Simon Dicks of Swindon police has warned a repeat performance will be dealt with severely.

He said: "Having learned from the problems we had last year there will be a heavy police presence at Saturday's game both on the pitch and in town.

"This time there will be zero tolerance approach to troublemakers and if anyone steps out of line we will come down on them. There will be arrests and they may face a ban on all future games.

"We are not taking any chances this time around."

Police on the ground say they will on high alert.

PC Jim Neighbour, the police football liaison officer, added: "It will be appropriately policed although we cannot specify how many officers will be at the game."

Town director Bob Holt has also issued a warning to supporters.

He said: "We would appeal to fans for calm and to focus all their energies on supporting the team.

"It is a big game, a six-pointer if you like, and we want all the fans to enjoy the game and act responsibly.

"We have been co-operating with the police to isolate trouble makers and there will be an increased police presence on the day.

"The club does not tolerate violence in football of any kind.

"We desperately want the match to pass without any such incident and for it to be an enjoyable day for all supporters."

The game kicks off at the Country Ground at 3pm.
