I want to get out of here, I've had enough this job is too easy for me but I only want to move if I can get into another big company, agencies don't seem to be coming up with much so I was thinking of just writing speculative to HR depts.

I know quite a few people in here are in IT, are there any companies I should avoid contacting due to having a crap IT dept or just crap full stop ?

Anyone had any luck getting a job by writing to compaines direct ?

Any tips ?

Alot of people write/Email to us directly to ask for jobs - my bosses always look at everyones CV just in case there may be a gem so Id say it would be worth a shot

I dont work in IT though sorry

I got my first job by writing to swindon town! I left uni in 2000 and wrote to the club. Turned out the prog ed was leaving and in I went!

It does pay off mate...

Not sure what my company has in terms of IT jobs but the IT department is big enough. Maybe you should send your CV in. They are always looking to recruit for all fields.
