With the board / non-football management coming out to the adver every other day saying how they've done nothing but run the club with super ace awesomeness. I propose that we but together all our knowledge of their on and off involvement in the club, Pre and post the Brady / Donegan, including relevant Business interest / partnerships with Property Developers, Media thingies and stuff.
Sorry bit of a trail off there. I know that bit's and pieces of the whole story are everywhere on tinternet, but correct be if I'm wrong, I don't think there's a comprehensive history all in one place. One which not only gives a time line of events on and off the pitch, but investment recieved from the web of other companies with connections to the board (artificial or not), other investment, changes in (non-football) management, and how our apparent financial situation seems to relate to extra income in certain seasons. Oh and anything else of interest.
Would be a useful document to have.
Of course I'm too lazy and addled and insane to put such a thing together. Not without links to news stories and other things people have put together, I'm guessing there's some usefulness on the trust website. But to be honest I was hoping someone else would do it.

Sounds like a good idea. Would be interesting to see how many mystery investors we've had, I've certainly lost count.

I was thinking more of a collabaration of all the information we know and can reference, not one of investigative journalism. There's lot's of unanswered question, but my super intellectual thinking has led me to believe that such a document would ask those questions with the information it gives. I think we've been caught in a trap of too much rumour and speculation recently; even when the source is better than "someone told me" or "I heard today" Edit: AndI've managed to fB myself

You'd probably need to go back 15 or 16 years though to pick up the story, when SSW first became a director. Its doable but would be remarkably time consuming....

And the fact that I can't be arsed, and don't have a day off until Sunday, doesn't bode well. I think it's a worthy project though, and with a few people putting the effort in I think it could get done. Just need to update a central document with changes every so often.

I'd help out with trawling through the Adver archives et al. Ace, and I hope other people wouldn't mind helping to. I think starting by finding as many sources as you can. So anybody who's willing to go through the adver stuff, briefly say what it's about and give a reference (tinternet or otherwise), would be a good start to collecting information. As I said, I'm talking about a sort of history which isn't speculation. I think it's worth doing.
