Right, if you want some good buys, check out some of the youngsters playing in france, most you will have to give a few years to develop. but players such as jeremy menez, henri saivet, samir nasri, andre ayew.

i'm at the end of january now, so far beaten lincoln and walsall in the FA cup, drew Fulham at home in the 3rd round, dicked em 3-0 got an away trip to Blackpool in the 4th round, 3-3 draw after going ahead twice, looking forward to the replay about 6th in the league, daryle murphy scored 10 goals in 11 games, has then scored twice in about 15. :? |

In my brief playing of the newer FMs, I always found that it was a good idea to media praise a few of your key, good high average rating, players (I presume you can still do that?, I think the newest one I played was 06ish), before a busy run in of games, so normally a bit before Christmas.
Obviously it depends on their personalities and stuff. Some players just get lazy if you do that.

All these are Under 19's (some are wonderkids) and available when you start the game with the huge database most have poor stats to start with but develop quickly and all turn into world class players inside 2-3 years, get them if you can, a couple do need work permits for England though.
