Its a payment that is basically buying you sole exclusivity rights for a set period of time.

The board couldn't give a shit about the protests other than it might scupper their new deal so to think this is in some way a response to last night's meeting is wrong.
I'm delighted Best are out of the way as I was suspicious of their motives and the non-information we were receiving, I see this move as the board having lost patience with them. I'm also optimistic about the new partner as I no have reason to think otherwise. We need help to keep our football club alive, we don't want BEST (in my opinion) and there doesn't seem to be many other alternatives floating around.
So to the new partner welcome and thanks very much.
