That is fucking weird.  I just went on to Billy Paynter's wikipedia page...must have been all of 2 mins after his 3rd goal went in...and the last paragraph reads 'Paynter signed for Swindon Town during the 2007-08 season. He hit a hat-trick against Bournemouth in September 2007.'

Did one of you lot just put that up there?

Great result, good opening 20, terrible last 20 in 1st half. Good pressing and 3 goals in the second half. Marvellous.

Cox was my MOTM despite Paynters hatrick.

1st half poor, 2nd half very good. Bouremouth defence in the 2nd half just capitualted.

Bournemouth are plagued with injuries and didnt look that bad to be honest. Their goal keeper is probably the worst in the football league though. 2 if not 3 of the goals were his fault.

1st half we were appaling. second half we were much better, but as scott said the bornmouth defence just capitualted.

The cox-paynter partnership is looking VERY promising however

Moment of the day:-

Walking back to jimmy ciders Car after the game and hearing some Bournemouth fans saying that they played us off the park in the first half.

I turned round and just laughed at them.

far be it for me to positive and jump the gun....but I think the 'new Sam Parkin' has finally arrived.

First half wasnt brilliant, but second half was much better. Finally we got a bit of luck in front of goal and once we were in the lead the confidence drained from Bournemouth and ours went through the roof.

4 goals all from strikers, 2 of which were set up by the other striker to. Not bad

They did, we dealt with everything they threw at us. Bar the goal, obviously. We stepped up a few gears and they collapsed.

I enjoyed that  Cool

However the excellence of our strikers and Easton, Comminges and Blackburn masked how fucking crap Sofi (should that be Sophie) and Peacock were.

If you're going to wear yellow boots and a mohawk you've got to be half decent Lee!

First half even - second half a complete pissing on by us. Bornmuff were crap. When they scored their goal we went to piices and I was grateful for the whistle.  Cox stuck his goal away well. The keeper helped with our second my going walkabout. The third was great skill by Painter - the fourth great skill by Cox.
Painter and cox were a real handful and will cause some grief to a few defences this season. Vincent, i thuoght was also very good as were McGovernn and the Minge.
The bad news - the way we caved in after their goal. Also two extrmely poor performances from Zaboub and even more so by Blackburn. Blackburn gave me kittens any time he was near the ball. positionally he was crap and his heading was really week. In fact, he was so out of sorts I'd have taken him off at half time. On the positive side hopefully it was a bad day but Ifill had plenty of thsoe early on and came good.
