Don't do it.
Never have. Waste of money.
Sorry to piss on your (slightly just about smouldering) bonfire.

I once matched four numbers, but so did 32,000 other people so I got a grand total of 16 quid, even less than you did!

Sorry to piss on your (slightly just about smouldering) bonfire. The odds don't match up with the pound you pay and the amount you win, but then it's the only way to win that sort of money, that an euro millions. Not that I ever bother anyway.

I wouldn't call it big but, the best i've had was just under a grand in a syndicate at work. It was the weekend before I pulled out too as I was leaving the job. With my share of that and my leaving collection, that pound turned into a few hundred. Then I moved to Wales. You can't win them all i guess.

The lottery is just not worth it. Ive done it a few times and won a tenner once.
I used to do the football million slip in ladbrokes which was quite good. Not sure if they still do it. I think its easier to win a million predicting the outcome of 20 football matches than picking random numbers. My mate won over £2k on it once.

Some friends devised a workable lottery system which guarantees wins on a regular basis.
It works using an algorithm a statistician friend of mine devised from an old formula used in calculating the speed stars move away from us.
Anyway, he wins of varying degrees quite often, but what it shows, is that with study you can actually predict the balls that will come out at any given time with 80% accuracy.
4 balls is easy for him and he actually once managed to match 4 and the other 2 were 1 figure too high!
He had to adjust the formula following this and going by his rough calculations he expects to get 6 balls within the next 6 months.

With all due respect Barry, how the fuck can you devise a formula that can predict which 4, 5 or six random balls will drop out of a plastic bowl. Isn't that called guessing? Or we'd all be millionaires by now?
