Honestly, Im not quite sure how I'm alive....I really thought it was the end.
I was being driven back from a school in burbage and we're between Malbrough and Swindon and the driver goes to overtake this lorry.
The road is clear, but soon bends, so we're along side this lorry and this big jeep comes round the corner.
So we are side by side with this lorry and have a jeep coming at us.
So what does the driver do, but on the break and moves back in behind the lorry.....no he puts his foot down and hopes his 0.9litre engine is powerful enough to get through the gap!
Jeep is getting closer and we're half way along side the lorry....now I really start to panic. I've got no control over anything and I can see anything other than a head on hit!
Anyway its crunch time and he goes to pull in, infront of the lorry before the jeep gets here and the back bumper on his car, hits probably the front bumper of the lorry and we squeeze through the gap.
I look at the back of the car, I'm expect to see the window smashed in, nothing. I look out the wing mirror expecting to see a massive dent in the car, nothing.
He ended up with a scratch on the bumper and that was it.
Stupid, idiotic driving.
Im shocked that hitting the lorry didnt cause us to swerve, didnt send us across the road into the jeep. Im shocked it didnt flip us across the road into the Jeep and into the ditch.
The car behind was some more coaches and one was already part way through to dialling 999. Thats how back it was to watch.
Fucking hell, I'm sure no one cares and thought it was a boring story.....but I felt the need to type it out anyway.

It really didnt sink in till after, at first it almost seemed dangerous driving nothing much....but really once we hit the lorry the car could have done anything and gone anywhere....how it stayed under control and on the road and out of the path of the jeep I dont know.
The only metal thing on the shitty old car is the bonnet. Lorry hits plastic, you expect the plastic to go flying.
Maybe I really am Jesus....

DV is a sports coach OJ, I presume he meant that the car behind was full of his colleagues - (nice play on words though fella)

pod wouldnt be stupid enough to try and over take in his heap of metal, which rather oddly passed its MOT yesterday. Despite the back bumper hanging off

I don't really understand what happened, reading driving accounts isn't my strong point. Sounds like some proper ninja James Bond driving though.

That 7 mile stretch of road claims about 3 or 4 lives a year, usually on the bit between Ogbourne Maisey and Ogbourne Golf course. I've seen some moronic drivers overtaking there too.
