either mex or OST has got the game wrong.

5000 for Luton would be low, 7000 to 8000 should be a fair guess for the first home game.  A loss and we might expect it to drop in to the 6000's after that, a win should sustain it for the next one.

5000 for Charlton would be about right.  In 1994 when we played them at home in the LC the season after playing in the top league, with 4000 season ticket holders, we got just over 3000 from memory.

 I wouldn't expect too many more....in 04/05 we played Luton first home game, on the back of the previous PO season and got 6,200
