So is it fair to say apart from the £1.2m that we have seen the back of bill power then.Shame he could not take over the club but i have to admit i have been a bit disapointed with the lack of information coming from power and co.
Still think his heart was in the right place just a bit of a shame how this has ended up.
Got a feeling the trust may have a bit of rebuilding to do after all this has passed

One way or another it should bring everything to a conclusion. If the takeover is real, they should have the money ready incase Power wins his case and we start afresh.
If the takeover is not all it was cracked up to be, Power wins and they can't afford it then we go back to the FC being an option.
If Power loses, then the club has one less debt.

Western Daily Press says that "Western Daily Press understands that Bill Power has not totally given up on the fans consortium wanting to take over the club" or something to that extent.

If I was him I'd give up as its pretty bloody obvious that he is not going to be buying the club.
Which is a pity.

IIRC correctly, Bill's said he wants to know who the mystery foreign consortium are so that he can meet up with them to discuss potential further investment.

IMO things needed to be brought to a head one way or another, and this will do it.
Lets see the whites of their eyes so to speak.
The FC has not gone away and to a degree Samdy is correct.
Lets see what happens in the next 48hrs and what potential ramifications with the "new investors" there may be
Lets face it...................this has not come as a shock. Bill said that he would do it and now he has

Don't really like the timing of this though - 3 days before the start of the season - seems easy to look at it and say it is too calculated me thinks........

The key to this news is the timing of it. BP has struck just at the right time in my eyes. We don't know for sure but by the looks of things the takeover is almost a done deal. Whether we see these investors run a mile at the news or finally reveal who they are remains to be seen. What i do hope is that the situation is resolved rapidly and doesn't affect the teams performance on the pitch for the coming season.

Of course, it was this time last season where the infamous 'rift' happened, with Bill P wanting more say where his money went to.
We all knew this was coming. Bill P said it was coming a month ago, so no surprises there.
So it's time for our board (and investors) to pay up...or go away.
And a message for Bill P....
Don't accept a payment play over x amount of years...as we all know how well they keep to those.

If they can pay off BP that's the end of him I reckon. I can't see him pursuing a takeover when it would seem like he's just banging his head against the wall (and who would blame him). If they can't pay BP then the takeover is still very much on. That's how I see it anyway.

If he gets his money back he'll go running back to 'his' club QPR and put the money in there.
