more to the point, why does a division 3 football team need a sporting director/director of football/useless idiot?
the only club i can think of in england with a director of football is chelsea.

Janaage - Rufus Brevett has been installed as sporting dirtector at the County Ground., On the official site it says he'll be the link between the management team and the new consortium - leading me to believe that he must know the consoritum guys pretty well to be their spokesperson with sturrock and co. Nothing groundbreaking, just putting two and two together. Seems fair enough, somebody to oversee what is happening and to give an answer to when the question is asked. Somebody needs to dig around now in his background and see who he is closely associated, although with that hair cut who will own up?? |

He has been brought in by the new investor(s) to oversee their end of things!! If this new investment fails to materialise things will change again rapidly. |

I think hes a good addition personally. When qualified he will add to the coaching ranks and also, being an experienced defender, he can only be a good influence/older head to help the defenders we already have. Especially as now we have so many of them.
