ah, okay.

Still  I think I'm gonna remain positive until the doom really descends upon us.

If I'm gonna be 100% honest now I think I'd settle for the board to be sat, smug as they like, telling all and sundry that they have managed to find a new investor to pay off the CVA in full.

I don't think I could handle the thought of debt debt and more debt.

Shit that was me meant to be positive.

indeed that is spot on

I am praying the runour is correct....... The wills will then have to sell to the only buyers (The consortium) or lose their money/land, & the club will have a future.

Personally I'd rather the rumour is not correct. My Ideal scenario is

NEW INVESTOR COMES IN

Consortium buys out SSW shares rids the club of this board and Power and the new investor work together assuming the investor is not dodgy securing the long term future of the football club.

If this rumour is true then dont expect an early statement from the board. They will be very busy this morning trying to switch money from lots of accounts to try and cover the final payment, that is if they do want to cling on to their 'plan'.
Then by lunchtime they will FINALLY discover that they are in such a mess they will give up.
Then they either lose the club by doing nothing, or lose the club by contacting BP and at least getting something.
The thing that I think will worry all of us is maybe seeing the yellow ticker thing going across the sky sports news channel saying that the board of Swindon Town FC cannot pay the final CVA payment and are being wound up. SCARY

Something has to happen soon. It won't be long before the HMRC boys are moving in and as has been mentioned several times, they do not piss about.

Class, that's one strange film.

I'd love to see four fella's dressed like that bursting into the STFC offices.

I fear for the women who work there though.
