in some respects spurs are paying for the partnership - the pace and power of bent alongside the skill, elegance and creativity of berbatov is, on paper, one hell of a front line. then with keane, and defoe on the bench, those are some serious options.
£16.5million might seem a lot of money, but premiership clubs are suddenly very very rich thanks to the new tv deal.

I think its a good deal IMO. Of course Bent is going to cost more than Henry. He's about 7 years younger and he's English of course. Henry has peaked and could be a bit injury prone now. I am sure Spurs will fly next season and fully expect them to finish above Arsenal who could atruggle upfront.
