Thats what happened with the VAT winding up order wasn't it, someone read about it in a London paper.

It is not possible to have an alternative opinion on this site unless of course you are a follower of The Trust/Consortium views and toe-the-line, especially with posters like yoruself Red Macca.
In the few weeks I have been visiting on here I have received many hostial posts, but does it bother me, well the answer is no.

In respect of those who have strong opinions of Swindon Town FC and the way they see the future of Swindon Town, I will refrain from posting on here in the future, you will however see me looking in now and again and reading the posts, which are without doubt the most informative of any Swindon Town site.

I have never tried resorting in belittling or insulting others on here or any other site, but I will fight my corner if others wants to have a pop, and this seems to be the problem with Trust/Consortium supporters in the majority, they think they can shout any opponent down who has any alternative views, this has been The Trust/Consortiums downfall from the start and why they have not received total support from the majority of Swindon fans

Dell, you have come in for some unwarranted abuse, I will grant you that. But, abuse doesn't just come from one side of the debate. Pro-consortium posters also get it too you know. In fact we also have to put up with some from the board & their minions.

Back a bunch of shysters who routinely lie to shareholders, supporters & the local community.
Rip off the only person to invest in them.
Who are at best guilty of gross financial mis management, & are taking the club down the road to oblivion ?
Why would ANYBODY support them.
You sir are quite entitled to your opinion, but don't please critisise others who don't share it.
Remember even hitler had his supporters, Nero fiddled while Rome burned and that "all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing".

Which bit do you like best exactly of the splendid job the board are doing?

Is it the repeatedly misleading fans and shareholders at successive AGMs/ Fans Forums?
Is it the continued and repeated failure to secure a ground redevelopment?
Maybe it's the ongoing total failure to run the club properly in any way?
Perhaps having the auditors register an almost unheard of adverse opinion in the accounts (which basically means their own auditors are saying the accounts are not to be relied on as they are not true) is what has gained your admiration?
Or perhaps it's getting us relegated to the basement through slashing the budget to 27p and shiny button then implying we should all be grateful when we scrape our way back up on the back of a £1.2m investment from a man they've been slagging off ever since he had a plane crash that could have killed him?
I know it must be the expert "financial engineering" that has got us into the position where despite five years' notice we have today passed the deadline for the CVA bullet payment that could close the club without paying it?
Or are just an S&M enthusiast who enjoys being treated like dirt?

I for one have the ability to look at all sides of an argument objectively, and on the basis of evidence presented, I conclude that the current incumbent board of Swindon Town FC are most definitely NOT doing a splendid job in all aspects of the business.

Somehow I managed to refrain from using any abusive language in the above.

One question for you Dachauer - how come you are an STFC fan? Serious question.
