Having played on the pitch the other week, I thought it was bloody fantastic, like playing on a carpet.

Which might actually help the pitch a bit.

If the pitch can take rugby as per Reading and Watford, does this mean that like those clubs STFC will be relaying the pitch mid-season as many of the top clubs do.  I hardly think so when they have actually cut the pitch budget again!!

They actually put synthetic fibres into the Football/Rugby shared pitches to ensure they don't cut up (hence Watfords match getting abandoned this season as it effects drainage). I somehow doubt that'd happen with our pitch so is slightly misleading comparison to make.

It's all bollocks.

'It won't affect the pitch' - bollocks - if that were the case the pitch would look better at the end of the season than the start.

They talk more shit than Big Brother contestants. I'd love to shove them all in a house for 15 weeks and subject them to humiliating tasks and hurl abuse in the tabloids at them day in day out. So long as Sandy doesn't get too excited in the jacuzzi
