Well like Yeovil I know nothing about this Adams fella, so I'll reserve judgement. I must say I am a little worried about getting all these players in loyal to Sturrock, what happens if Sturrock leaves and we're left with these players who want to up and leave and go play for Sturrock again at his new club? Just a thought.
As for the Po ok wanting more money "rumour" well it would explain why talks are currently stalled and why we're after two midfielders. And surely one of those rumours I posted has to come true???

im not worried about these "old boys" at all. they won promotion with Plymouth and Wednesday and they'll do it again here with any luck. Luggy knows what he'll get and they enjoy working with him

If he hasn't already been called from the "Luggy-Phone", he won't be joining Swindon.

he wouldn't be talking up swindon if he hadn't had some contact?
i've been told that pook is after more money, town won't offer it, and he has since been talking to shrewsbury...

I'm amazed at how much stick Pook gets. He's a local lad (ok that doesn't mean anything) but this is his club. The same with Jukawiecz. He's grown up with the club and wants it to do well.
Compare that to guys like Cureton, who don't care what club they play for as long as they're alright.
Pook had some good games, really well in others and he's only a young kid, who will get better over time.Sturrock respects Pook, and played him a lot, thats all that matters.
Sturrock plays a system and gets players in who suit that system. It seems like Easton, quite rightly is the number1 target for a hardworking midfield role alongside Peacock. Pook fits that mould.
I reckon some of the Pook flak is just local jealousy!!

What part of his drink driving offence affects the way he plays and the respect his manager has for his playing ability?
