I think that is the reason get the awards out the way early so they can all concentrate on the matter in hand and prepare properly.

I expect Sturrock is giving them an extra long team talk as well  :shock:

tbh with everything that's riding on tomorrow, I'd rather Sturrock had all the time he thinks he needs to shout at/stroke/harangue the players than foreshorten it so slightly more people can see the POTY pots handed out. I mean, the awards are nice and all, but not as important as doing whatever it takes to win tomorrow.

I think I'll head for the ground at 2.30 at the latest. As much as I want to be in the pub I hate queueing and don't want to miss the start of the match!!
