I want to support a local team.

I live in Oxfordshire and they don't have a team.

Counties close are Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire.

Ralphy that is a bit of a glory hunter thing to say.  You should be supporting a team that means something to you

My dad is Warwickshire and i go up to Edgbaston to watch them sometimes. Not been so much in past couple of years. Nice ground and a good atmosphere especially at the one dayers. A great day out  Beers

Gloucestershires probably the popular choice around these parts. Warickshire  play in birmingham though, so i'd guess thats further away from oxfordshire than bristol. I may be wrong though

Birmingham is closer to me than Brizzle.

I live in north Oxon.

I have never followed cricket so i have no love for any team.

Not good. He is nearly 67 now and quite ill these days. He is restricted to the house most of the time, its quite sad. But thanks for asking mate. If you ever wanna pop round sometime to say him im sure he would appreciate it. Might even have a beer in the fridge for you!
