Hardly shit is it Dan.

We're 3rd in the league.

If you were just talking about yesterday's performance then fair enough.

bar about 2/3 maybe even at a push 4 games this season, they've all been shit....and not value for money....16 quid to watch Swindon get a dull 1-0 win over Chester....oh how brilliant!

I agree with what you're saying, but when August comes round, i doubt you'll feel the same. You'll be spilling your hard earned cash like the rest of us mugs

horrible thought isn't it. I've already put £170 aside towards my next season ticket. League 2 for another year. hmmm....

whatever happens I'll be getting a season ticket, probably for the Town End as it's cheapest - it's fucking difficult to justify the cost considering the quality of what you're paying for  :?

very true. I starting to feel like that half way through this season. Some games i'd start reading my programme or watching the crowds as the football was so unbearable.

but come Arriba, hand on heart, this league is shit. We've been shit all season really, we've been lucky that other teams have been shitter.

We've left it til the last minute against one of the better teams in Walsall who will be gunning for the title. It could of been us. We could've won the title if the players had that little more passion and commitment. That is why i feel shit about the whole thing. Everyone was buzzing yesterday, what with local derby possible promotion and we have three fucking shots on target all game!!

i agree with you,the standard of football has been awful(last week was a great performance though).but just think ahead to next week.its still all to play for and its in our own hands.bloody exciting and finger  nail biting stuff eh?
like i said yesterday.this sort of situation is what makes football the greatest game on the planet.

The second half was dire last week. The players could've wrapped it up yesterday but failed. Thats my concern, will they be up for it next week. only time will tell?

Our defence is the reason we are third in this league.

If we had anything resembling a consistent midfield and decent scorers then we would have it by a country mile.

Incidentally, what is a country mile? Is it longer than a standard one?

i reckon it's a mile in a straight line but you have to go round tree's, over cattle, through fox hunting and other country style things.

From Wikipedia

A country mile is an informal term used to mean a great distance, significantly longer than a real mile. The term has a number of possible derivations:

    * People living in rural areas may considerably underestimate a distance ("Go that way for about a mile, then turn left...")
    * Country roads often meander, increasing the distance that must be travelled between two locations, compared to the distance measured in a straight line.
    * It takes longer to traverse unfavourable terrain, increasing the perceived distance between two places.
