No offence intended, my comments were aimed at the kind of comments put on there, no the actual petition itself.  For example

"Rovers are scum"

"Micheal Pook I love fatbury"

"who the fu*k are rovers !! we dont want rovers here"

Not really gonna be taken too seriously, imo.

I will say though I don't really like Online petitions there seems to be an on line petition for everything nowadays.

If it helps then fair play to you.

Cheers Jan understand your point of view and agree on most you say there, just took some of the posts as being critical on me which is justified to an extent because of poor spelling  Oops but as I said wanted to be active in stopping any potential groundshare.

So will the people moaning about the petition carrying on moaning if the ground share goes ahead and they get caught up in any sort of trouble when Rovers play here? i think they will.

He started a petition as that is the way he see's the board MAYBE hearing what the fans are saying (for a change), fair play to Dave for doing so.

I'm on the case! I have already emailed several board members, the western daily press and the adver and i'm pressing ahead with other things as well.

As demonstrated on saturday that sort of thing will be happening on a weekly/fortnightly basis if rovers groundshare with us, this cannot go ahead!!

The potential groundshare just shows that all the board see is pound signs and they do not care about the fans of swindon or the people of swindon.

If they did then they would not even consider sharing the ground with rovers after what they did at the home game this season and after smashing up that pub and causing trouble on saturday etc etc i could go on and on........

I am not moaning about the petition I just don;t agree with the "fuck off rovers" comments on there, you wouldn't get those kinda off comments on written petitions, which is why I think they are better than on line ones.

That's all.

And ST-enda didn't pass comment on your spelling as I'd say that is completely irrelevant personally.

Yes it did thank god was bit of a depressing journey home but we tried to get couple of songs going on train back to Swindon including the slow version of 'Oh when the reds....' was quite good fun especially with the egg chasers singing bent songs.

Good to meet you though Glos and share a nice rant against the board and the teams performance.  Will be in CGH before Walsall game on Sat with Spuddy, Give_us_an_S and Swindon Tartan Army come in for a pint if your around  Beers

Yeah might do that think I'll be on an all day session on Saturday too. But yeah is good to but a few more faces to names and nothing like a good rant against the board  Cheesy

Maybe a petition would work better if we piggy-backed another major cause. How about...

China should withdraw from their illegal occupation of Tibet and no to Rovers at the county ground.
