Brilliant performance, from the first minute you could see they were up for it, Fletcher played a beckhamesque role he must have run about 8 miles whilst on the pitch.

Don't care if you like Man utd or not, i can't see how you can't appreciate a match like that.  Also I think Utd made Roma look shit, as they never gave them a yard to play football.

Manchester Utd v Liverpool in the final would be superb.

Agree Jan.

Wish i'd turned over to ITV4 at half-time though, looks like Chelski put on a bit of a performance 2nd half in Valencia. Did anyone else see Mourinho dive into John Terry's interview celebrating? Cheesy

Yeah, then Essien said it was a great win and they were happy with the 3 points!

I did that - Man Utd - credit to them for winning, but I can't stand to see their smug faces, and the game was over.  But the second half of Chelsea was proper competitive, and a screamer to win it.  Man Utd to get beat by Liverpool in the final would make me very happy, just to see the look on Gary Neville's face.

Course I did Bushey - sure the odd 5 or 6 nil is great but goals like lukas matter so much more then an 'insignificant' fifth or sixth when the game is over.  Only England even comes close to how much I enjoy seeign Town win, although I do admit to leaping out of my seat watching the 2005 champions league final.

I think everyone on here would have been much happier at the torquay result, myself included. I wanted united to win because of Romas cuntish fans and old bill, but wasnt really that bothered either way to be honest.

I dont find perfect football boring. As much as I love STFC, I enjoy watching top quality football as well because I love the game.  And lets face it - quality wise this season has been shocking. League 2 is sooooooo very shit.

In my opinion the champions league is currently the pinacle of football, its better quality than international football and less predictable than the premiership where the sides outside the big 4 are mediocre at best and over rated.

I was at the game and  shat myself when I saw the row of ultras confronting us as we came off sir matt busby way. mental, and their end was full at this stage, so the hundreds kicking off outside were there for the ruck...

great performance, whether you like United or not, that was impressive.
