why don't the just get an excel spread sheet put every number between 1 and a million then surely you'd have every number? Because the whole point of train (or plane) spotting is writing down their numbers in the hope that maybe one day you might see the same one again. How sad. Surely not! Isn't the point to see EVERY single train ever made? Alan?!?!?!?!?! I actually wonder if they know why they do it...... Trainspotting, comes about simply from a love of trains...there are many ways in whuich this can manifest itself...working on preservation lines...travelling classic routes...walking old railway tracks....building model railways.....seeking out general railway heritage....listening to tapes of vintage steam....reading the books of O.S. Nock......or trainspotting, or a combination of some or all.

PS Thanks Sonic (I presume) for the otter references.

Don't knock it until you've tried it....very therapeutic Incidentally if they put a Warship class diesel hydraulic at the top of the badge.....then they could have a red one, well at least maroon....Swindon built in the 50's There used to be on e in the Bury Transport Museum a few years back...assuming its still there could be worth a look on Saturday.

Although I never got to see a Warship on the ex-GW main line. Only shedloads of Westerns. They were great. There used to be one in the Bury Transport Museum a few years back...assuming its still there could be worth a look on Saturday. I think there's a Warship or two on the West Somerset?
