Why the hell does he need a bloody great van, how much kit have we got!

Good to see we are getting the important things sorted.

The Kingswood Group's continuing support has recently been recognized by the donation of a new sports equipment van, providing encouragement and support to the entire Swindon Town Squad

How the fuck is it going to do that then ?

"ooohhhh If I work hard in training and in matches, I will be allowed to borrow the kit man's van to go dogging"

Come on lads be fair - they've found a sponsor who's shelled out for a van for the team. Part of that will be that said sponsor gets some publicity out of it. What are they going to say? "Some bloke's shelled out for a van for the kit man, some fucking use that is when we've got a 900k CVA to pay"

I expect we'll flog it to Everton next week and Sturrock will look for a van on loan...

At the present time the kit man has to transport ALL the training kits from his laundry at the County Ground up to the training ground at Wanborough.  If they are having a double session they expect a clean kit for each session!  There is a lot of kit involved and he presently uses one of the club's mini-buses.  Does this mean that a mini-bus is presently off the road - perhaps it needs taxing and we cannot afford it!! Shocked

Might be interesting if you have a thing for vans or sweaty kit!

Perhaps the new money spinner is the hire the kit man out as a 'man with a van' - they said there were big money investors looking at the club, unlike the consortium they have put their money where their mouth is and put a van up front.
