Couldn't make it today. But it sounded like a comfortable win...hope we stay in the top three now we've clawed our way back.
And the protests were coming through loud & clear on the radio. Well done to everyone who was there. Were there any more than the 45 or so behind the Arkells after the Chester game?

Yeah, the protests were easily heard on the radio and drew comment from Hodgetts and Hadwin! :tea:

No doubt Maverick will blame the next bad result on Jerel Ifil and Ady Williams seeing the protest and the orange flag.
The blimp was a quality laugh.

yeh the protest was good today there was about 50 or so when i went to it straight after kickoff.i left after 10 or so minutes but i think more turned up after i left because when i was walking back the chanting of 1 bill power and all that seemed to get louder.
if someone could organise leaflets to be handed out pre match to tell people to go to the protests i think alot more would turn up, because i think alot of people turning up at the moment only know about the protests because of sites like this.if we can keep protesting every home match, whatever the score, and get more people going each time,i think it will have an impact

Good turnout & lots more vocal, did anyone get a photo with the orange banner to post up. Agree with previous poster we need to get bigger numbers for next home game. Perhaps we need to hire the Speedways ladies in orange leotards then certainly got my attention

I believe many are waiting for a press release via The Trust about the takeover before they protest. If talks break down it will be interesting to see the numbers.

Bowden came out and talked down to us for 10-15 minutes. I think we eventually agreed to disagree about due dilligence procedures. He has a tic, which i found most humorous

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jameswalsh/DSC01649.jpgHolt cajoled us from the window after the final whistle but didn't have the bollocks to come out and talk to us, whereas Bowden stopped and "talked" with us - rather he got shouted at by millom red and myself - before he left with his wife and son in his fucking Maserati. The bastard. Anyway, I tried to get Holt to come down security were having none of it - apparently they don't give a fuck what we have to say.

It wasn't so much the fact Holt wouldn't come out and talk to us but that not only was he insisting Bowden came back inside and stopped conversing with us, but when I approached the security guard to ask him if Holt would come out he said in no uncertain terms that 'they're upstairs and don't care what you all have to say'.
Ironically, this was minutes after Bowden was trying to suggest how the board are being more transparent and open with fans!

Blimey - some very mixed messages, let's hope it isn't a sign of a boardroom rift!

I missed that then, we must have just left as I thought I saw bowden out there as we walked away. Interesting what you say about Bob Holts attitude, I guess theres no point in hiding it now is there. the gloves are well and truly off on both sides now so holt has no need to pay lip service to anyone.
as for the protest, it was a lot better and a lot more sustained than chester. but I still feel it's lacking the backing of your average town fan.
