I'd expect

Brown
Roberts
Shakes
Nicholas
Pook
Brownlie
Holgate
Wells

all to leave.

Ady may be finished, Evans will be given a chance.  If Weston is out of favour, surely he's worth swapping for a striker.  Possibly, that's why he wasn't featured on Saurday.  This is pure speculation.

I would imagine that Sturrock will also want to keep Nico & Pook as they would be good squad players, not always 1st team but decent back up to cover for injuries or loss of form, if we get rid of too many and have toom any new ones comingin we risk bueing in the situation that no one knows anyone and it taking half a season for them to get used to each other and us struggling during that time, we need a nucleus of players already here that are decent enough, then put them on 1 yr deals.

yeah, just like that season Dennis Wise bought in loads of players, man they took ages to gell and start winning games!

Back to the players, I randomly thought of Ben Wells, he's featured once this season. He played right wing for 10 minutes at Mansfield and put in 3 or 4 decent crosses. Maybe he's worth another go out on the right wing what with Shakes being rubbish and stuff

I'd agree with VD there, Wells was good againts Salisbury on the right too.  He cant do any worse than shakes on a bad day

I rate Wells.

Too small for central midfield but has looked handy on the right when he's played there, I remember him coming on against Tranmere at the start of last season and his energy, work rate and pace were impressive and he put in some decent crosses too.

A lot's going to be dependent on which league we're in and how much players earn - E.g. Shakes earns a third of what Roberts is on, so we're likely to keep Shakes over Roberts (Newbury thinking here!). Bold stays
J Smith
Vincent - please leave...
Ifil
Williams
Brown
Roberts - please, please, please.
Shakes - Cheapy player
Nicholas - shouldn't have got a driving ban....
Noubissie
Evans
Pook - Cheapy player
Brownlie
Sturrock - Daddy won't get rid...
Weston - Won't sign a new contract - join Wise on a free if Leeds go down
Holgate
Wells

Largely agree but neither Pook and Shakesis are up to League 1 standard if promoted, whereas Weston has the class to do well at that level - if he hasn't fallen out big time with Sturrock.
