...thats all I heard on the radio on the way, well thats no fucking good playing well for 30 fucking minutes when the games are 90 minutes.

That second half was awful, we didnt win any headers, didnt make any passes, didnt win any second balls. Pook and Timlin second half were fucking awful, Shakes wasnt much better.

At half time Darlington shouldnt have been still in the game.

Our squad isnt good enough, not enough depth. We have 2 centre backs in our whole fucking squad and only 4 central midfielders, one being out for the next 6 weeks after playing 2 games since October and one of them is Michael Pook. Fuck sake, I'd rather see Gareth Whalley in there!!

Strikers didnt take their chances, esp Roberts. I still feel Royce Brownlie has been shafted....give him another go? why not eh. Yes Roberts shot off the bar was good, but the diving header...should have scored...Aaron Brown cross should have scored.

The radio has pissed me off....yes the first half an hour was good but if you only play for 30 minutes you dont win games.

That wasnt good enough, at the moment we look incapable of playing much more than 45 minutes....

We should have put the game beyond doubt by half time, if you don't take your chances you get punished.

Especially when your only defender with a half a brain is out.

we should have been 4-0 up at half time. We did not take our chances and we got punished for it. That is football.

Indeed, in the first half we looked more threatening than we have for a long long time. At this level the opposition with always have a chance whilst the score was only 1-0.

I'm not saying this lost us the game, but it was an iron cast penalty for the foul on Peacock.

If Peacock wasn't slower than a fucking pensioner and could dribble properly he'd have scored anyway!

we could have been 4 or 5 up by half time,we were cruising.fell apart after the break.
and roberts was offside everytime the fucking ball went through.he had great vision for the attempt that hit the bar, this was followed by a woefull header and an inefective rest of game.frustrating.thought brown did ok,shakes poor, defence ok but were dodgy in parts and why the fuck didn't smith claim that ball in the second half?
pook was chasing shadows, timlin little better.but fuck it we still had enough chances to bury the game.

end of senseless rant!

Which Smith claim what ball. The ball across for the goal was too far and pacey for Phil Smith. Jack Smith may have goot to it but slipped over.

Brown was on his heels ball watching. Nicho had charged in to centre back to cover for Vincent being out of position.

As for it being Ifil's fault, listen to Sturrock's after match interview - 4m53s

All to confirm, Roberts is NOT a striker and should NOT be playing there.

I concur arriba. !st half Robert's played well and Should have scored and i felt he perhaps shaded it for 1st half mom. But Jerel won nearly everything in the air, and seemed to marshall quite well in the absence of Williams. So he gets my vote. Got it slightly wrong for the Darlo goal, but he will have learned from it i hope

for once we were creative, all be it not throughout the game. should have had a pen of course and i felt the ref was generally shite, but that is no excuse for drawing against a very poor darlo in my opinion.

we seem to lack any spark though to come back after teams score against us. we didnt make a big push for another goal in the dying moments or anything, which frustrated me.

zaboub did nothing when he came on yesterday, when he is normally very lively. mind you i dont think the sub should have been left so late.

ah well, next up barnet. have to get 6 points from the next two games!
