Watched Napolean Dynamite and I'll sleep when I am dead on Sky Movies over the weekend. ND was humerous and I think I fell asleep during the important bit of the other film.

Anyone seen these films and have any interesting or indeed, dull views?

Couldn't get interested in Napoleon Dynamite, which surprised me as I usually like that sort of film. Even the cult status hype the film got didn't put me off but I thought it was incredibly dull and too much hard work.

I am not the biggest watcher of films and didn't realise it had a cult status, it was kind of slow but I found it kind of funny without ever being hilarious.

I watched Croupier last night on Film4. Was different and interesting. Certainly wouldn't have watched it unless it was on the box but I'm glad I did.

ND is one of the funniest films ever, its not a funny film as in laugh out loud funny it just tickles your insides for ages,

other films i have recently watched are dean mans shoes and the foutain, both highly recomended.

Paddy Considine is in Hot Fuzz as well, he's a superb actor.  A Room For Romeo Brass(another Shane Meadows film) is worth watching for his part alone, and I liked Twenty Four/Seven alot as well(without Considine), which alot of critics panned.  But then what the fuck to they know, most of them slated Life Is Beautiful.

I'm waiting on Pan's Labrynth and Howl's Moving Castle at the moment.  I saw Spirited Away for the first time yesterday and enjoyed that alot.

Cheers for the offer, but it's coming in the post soon.  I bought my sister Spirited Away for Christmas and got to watch it the day after her party Cheesy

How'd the exam on La Haine go?

You need to see Princess Mononoke, best Miyazaki film by far.

I missed the exam, had a thumping migraine so will sit it in June.

(I thought the Dave Mitchell/Noel Edmonds resemblance was uncanny. It's actually just fucking weird)

I'll do that then, it was one I looked at and decided not to go with.

Make sure you correct everyones pronounciation when they say La Haine, then you can look a complete cunt like me Cheesy   I can't help it as it was drilled into my memory by my Belgian housmate at uni.

I'm hoping to see Pan's Labyrinth this week, although it depends on whether we get the 12 inches of snow forecast tonight/tomorrow as to what day I go. Will report back.
