Pretty entertaining game. Shame the club couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery, I was fuming when I got there - as anyone in the CGH will testify - which was calmed down by a loving Mr Yeovil Red.
Anyway, nice to see some football at the County Ground for a change instead of total hoofball, Hopper and Kennedy looked decent, may perhaps make it as pro footballers.
Newcastle were a bunch of moaning wankers as others have said, bunch of cunts.
Fantastic attendance. I'd like to think all the money generated from the youth cup run - i.e. tickets, food, prize money - would be invested directly into the CofE but it'll probably line Diamandis' pockets.

can i just say that i really don't agreeing with clapping someone who's just got themself sent off What clapping a lad who has ran his bollocks off for the team, tried his heart out, pulled the strings at times and was unlucky to get booked in the first half? (to the point not sure what it was even for?!) so to pick up a 2nd yellow n get dismissed i see nothing wrong with clapping him off! Fair enough he was sent off reducing us to ten but he worked hard n was unlucky 2 pick up 2 bookings! Think your being pedantic myself.

Plus Allen who was sent off, has put in great performances in all the other rounds scoring crucial goals, so why cant u clap him off in what may be his last appearance in the competition??

I enjoyed it more than league football.
Maybe it was the lack of pressure, maybe it was becuase I didnt know anyone from Adam...
Whatever it was it was fun to watch.

It's nice to see that I wasn't the only one who thought the ref was crap.
The No.8 was booked for daring to make a challenge. The ref, who had just booked two Newcastle players, decided to book two of our players to level the bookings up, and all they did was make decent challenges, which were no way bookings.
The Newcastle no.9 remined me of Eric Sabin...got pace, but useless in his finishing.

did thier number 9 get booked...and whether he did or not....why did he get nothing for the foul on Jon Stewart...it was late and caught him....but HE went down injured afterwards and the original foul was completely forgotton.

The whole Newcastle team reminded me of spoilt children who didn't get their own way. They were whinging from the first minute to the last, and how their number 9 didn't get booked I will never though. i'm convinced the ref was his dad !!!
Coaching in petulance is a prerequisite of the wannabe Prem player. I daresay the Geordies get detailed video analysis in the style of the likes of Bellamy, Bowyer and Dyer. Their recent graduate Steven Taylor is showing considerable promise as a diver...his goalline handballs followed by the simulation of a British lancer speared by Zulu assegai at Rorke's Drift being a particular favourite. His half turn with pike against the Scouse Franchise on Sat is also worthy of mention in despatches. Dyer a diver, bollocks. And Taylor made a meal of the tackle on Saturday but it was a foul
