I love his philosophy on the team.

Curtis got injured, Pooky came in, the teams winning.... Curtis'll have to wait.

Great stuff

I've just sent a lengthy(ish) email in, doubt it'll get read out but I'm hoping they'll notice it and Sturrock may choose to respond in his own time, which would be nice.

Hi Paul,

I note with some interest that the fan's forum next week was moved
from a matchday to an evening allegedly on your request. Is this
correct and if so why?

Furthermore, I recall some comments attributed to you regarding the
takeover to the effect that you were against it. Is your stance still
the same or would you welcome fresh investment in the club? Investment
that is backed by a man whose involvement in the club was sadly cut
short earlier this season and is supported by a significant proportion
of fans?

You also previously stated that your ambition for this club is to
achieve a Championship place, would this not be far more likely with a
better future off the pitch with fresh investment and redevelopment
plans which have been designed with the local residents and the
borough council?

My best wishes for continued success on and off the pitch at STFC,
keep up the great job.

I was referring to his pet projects like the bootroom, press room etc. Probably should have clarified that!

Will he be staying for the whole of the forum, as there are people who want to ask some hard questions of the board and don't want you to feel critised with regard to on pitch activities.

It got asked  Cool

Interesting he did not go to the board and ask "how much have I got available to me this transfer window"

better than I expected though.

Basically, that he has an opinion that he'll air at the forum.

that he understands things like this happen in football and that if it goes ahead, he'll be getting on with the job.

Bit of a slip of the tongue, was there a 'when' it goes ahead in there...couldn't tell.

Always comes across very well, and balanced - he wants to sort the club out top to bottom - I just think it needs somebody at the fans forum to state the consortium case very calmly, in a structured way.

Things are looking up. Lets just hope its not an all out slanging match at the fans forum. People are talking etc, Atleast its the first step.

fuck that, let's have a riot.

the pro-hunt lobby had the right idea when they stormed parliament, and the boxing day hunts still take place.

direct and violent action does work.
