when i read this i agreed with Surrock's decision to let Monkhouse go, because i must be honest i thought he would be a big loss.

"He said: “You have to look at the pro’s and cons of the situation.

“I’ve looked at his track record of games played in eight years and he’s played 75 games or so. "

Atleast they tried to get the clause in the contract!!

"“The paperwork isn’t quite tied up but that (Monkhouse not featuring in the forthcoming clash) will be one of the clauses we’ll be attempting to put in the contract.”"

I thought that was quite a strange comment at the time.  After everything was pretty much agreed we tried to stick that clause in as well...

HUFC: So everything's agreed then?
STFC: Yeah, well, no, well, sort of.....how about we say you can't play him against us?
HUFC: No.
STFC: Oh go on, be a sport.
HUFC: Errr, no.
