Ok I'll spell it out in short.

UK libel allows you to be taken to court and ordered to pay a lot of cash for proven liablous comments. You may also be nicked by plod for racist comments too.

As board owner Whits may also be liable to prossecution as it is his board. However this is somewhat more of a grey area.  

So I'd imagine that this board is being monitored and suggest it sensible to comply with Sonic's request.

If you want to make a stand, post MD a letter, with your real name and address on it, stating your views and opinions in the way they're presented on here.

They know who i am Hertha, ive written to them twice. Once about the arkells refugees following the rovers game, and prior to that, asking them to at least look at what the consortium had to offer. Did i get an answer?

But you wouldn't use the insulting terms in a letter that we (Myself included) use on forums. That is the issue here.

That and the fact that Whits could also be held partially responsible for other peoples comments.

The sad fact is that freedom of speech is great in theory, but in practice it doesn't give people carte blanche to say anything they like.
