Isn't Timlin suspended as he picked up 4 yellows at Swindon and 1 with Fulham this season?

Yep, well done on reading the adver site.  Cool

if we sign anyone this week, they should start on the bench.

so i'd go for:

Smith

Smith
Ifil
Williams
Nicholas

Shakes
Timlin
Weston
Zaaboub

Peacock
Jutkiewicz

subs
Stewart
Vincent
Comyn-Platt
Pook
Roberts

seeing as timlin's out, i'd stick zaaboub in the middle and put brown on the left.

Agree Macca, it seems like he is really torn between the two.  I am a bit worried though about 'experimenting' in a pretty vital league game.  Having seen Weston play he's a certain starter when fit, and him and Timlin in the middle is pretty exciting.

Yeah the problem with timlin suspended do you leave pook and weston together? with peacock and weston though they are both more inclined to get forward which worries me a little as you really need one of them to sit back and try and stop darren ferguson picking passes out

I know what you mean, like Sturrock has said he sees Timlin as an attacking mf, but the only one except Evans who is willng and/or capable of being more defensive. without him or evans we're always going to look a little lightweight.  Maybe zaboub could do a job there given his defensive pedigree as a left back.  Certainly last season CCP would have played there but Luggy has said (and I agree) that Charlie really isn't a midfielder, he just doesn't have enough quality.

For that reason I'd start Peacock in midfield on saturday.

Code:
            P Smith

J Smith         Ifil            Williams            Vincent

Shakes        Peacock      Weston           Zaabooooooooooooooooob

                Roberts         Lukas

Bench:

Nicho
Brown
Pook
Sturrock
Stewart
