The Young Knives, Amy Winehouse and Richard Hawley are all worth a go I reckon Amy Winehouse and Richard Hawley - Very mellow and 50s-ish ! If you like that try Robert Love - Ghost Flight. NMH

Not impressed with young knives .. they were support to Snow Patrol when I saw them last month ... agree with the Porcupine Tree support .. not just Deadwing but all their albums work for me (voyage 34 is a different kind of album!!) ...... also try Pineapple Thief (somerset band) ... or the Meligrove Band (Canadian)
