I also think FWIW that the IR as a whole, are not best pleased with the ruling that discounted them from being an automatic preffered creditor in such cases.
There ......................... my last post in this thread !

I will add another then.
The current board have no friends at all, Maverick.
The fans, the council, their creditors, the local media, the slimy green things that inhabit the planet Zog.
They have fucked everybody over.

Si - I don't know anyone who is "loved up" with the Board ..... I am sure there are some though ..... but there are certainly some I know who are wary of everyone! I am sure I have quite probably got people mixed up and for that I apologise ... but certainly there are two of the trust board who have been the reason for some of my comments...... and bearing in mind that there are mainly two on the STFC "side" who get criticised for what they say (Mike D & Martyn S) .. in some people's minds it leaves the trust board open to being seen as sinking to the club's level. To win over hearts and minds of the larger fanbase, I really think the Trust need to be seen as being able to rise above it all. I know that the board are all passionate fans first and foremost ... but they have "put their heads above the parapet" by becoming board members, and so will be subject to scrutiny by all .... and lets face it if a "first-timer" came on this site (yes I KNOW it is 80% bollocks, perhaps closer to 90% on a good day!! ) ... and looked at the content of some of the trust board members posts ...... god knows how they would ever take the Trust seriously or see them as a viable or professional group!! Hopefully people will not see this as "Maverick slagging off the Trust again" ...... it is intended to be constructive. I know there's a lot of finger pointing at those two individuals but there is a reason for that. Mike D clearly pulls the strings and Martyn S is the 'public relations' *chuckle* guy. I still think it's pretty naive to lay blame solely on a particular individual and some of the abuse isn't unjust but possibly a bit to over the top. However, since Mickey did his famous interview he's lost any chance of 'a fair trial'. There is a witch hunt on, but there's a witch to hunt.

How come they never come off the fence then? The pointed ends of a paling fence have long since departed from the arses of Ritson, Hadwin and Hodgetts methinks, Yeovil.

Surely there is a difference between seeking to renegotiate the CVA payments and actually having the relevant parties agree to renegotiate the payments.
To withold payments whilst seeking to renegotiate would surely be foolhardy. To present as fact that the payment in June was not made due to any renegotiations seems incorrect as in November a representitive of Hacker and Young said they were attempting to renegotiate. ie no agreement was in place in June.
I recall MD stating that the last agreed payments were based on a new stadium being given the go ahead and investments coming in of the back of an agreement. He also gave the impression that as this was unlikey the terms of the CVA no longer applied. Does anyone ( a creditor) have any documentary evidence of this?

they never said the CVA was up to date ... they said that "all current commitments have been met" Mav, I had you down as an intelectual. Using symantics to bolster your argument just makes you look like a prick. Sandy Gray lied like fuck. You know it, we know it, and everyone else knows it. Cut the bullshit. .... I don't know that the Wise compo is in yet ... I think I read somewhere that was still to come (I think Bates is not the quickest of payers) I've not read or heard that line anywhere else. Please tell us where YOU heard it? FWIW, I don't buy your 'man of the people' persona. I think you're a shit stiring cunt.

deltaincline ...... not trying to bolster any argument at all ... just saying that is how they stated it, which is technically correct and totally misleading ... said it before and will say it again.
I have no idea what was said at the AGM as I wasn't there ... but by all accounts they lied there.
As I also said before ... if I got it wrong about the Wise money then sorry ... just I thought I had seen it somewhere ..... and let's face it, it is not uncommon for payments to be delayed or staged in football.
Not sure what I would gain from stirring ... but I am sure someone will find the conspiracy theory for me!
