http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/legodcuervo/cg1.jpg

is this the kind of development they are planning for the not to distant future?

before you take the piss i know most of the lines aren't straight & proportions are wrong, but i'm not the most patient person when it comes to things like this  :x

I'd be quite happy if it turned out like that!  Then we can bomb the houses behind the bank and make the whole stadium look like that!

Good stuff Phillipe.

Hopefully we will get something in line with Charlton's New Valley development.

http://www.charlton-athletic.co.uk/uploads/charlton7145pages1.jpg

The similarities are all there right down to the state of the respective clubs prior to development.

Sticking with the bowl design with the inclusion of the corner segments of the two new stands then it opens up a lot of the space required to house the commercial additional revenue streams that are being mooted.

Then when we sack King, appoint Mick "Don't Fuck With Me" Harford reach the Premiership we can fill in the last two corners and increase capacity up to 30k.

dunno about a roof on the bank, the residents will probably complain & we wont ever get planning permission. will probably stay as it is & just get used for 'overspill' for away fans.

Well the roof was mentioned in Holts plans and Reg seems certain that the last time it was mentioned it wasn't the local residents objections that halted the plans it was our cash flow problems.  I think this was right, may need Reggie to confirm.

Might not be worth bothering with short term if in the great scheme of things the eventual plan is to totally re-vamp/re-built and fill in the corner sections on the Stratton.

For the sake of a few away fans getting wet it may not be worth risking upsetting residents and hamper planning permission for the first stages of development.

Totally agreee with you Dazza, so long as the plan is to keep the SB for away fans.
