Interesting having a look back at MH playing career, certainly knew he was a bit of a journeyman centre forward, but  the detail is full of surprises. All times approx.

 Lincoln City......77-80

  Newcastle 80

  Sh**ty...81

  Brum......82/83

   Looton 84/90

    Derby   90/91

     Looton 91/92

    Chelseas 92

     Sunderland 93

    Coventry  93

    Wimbledon 94-97

Played with Reeeeves at  Wimbledon, lets hope they got on.

Presumably the King link is from Looton

2 England caps at Looton 87/88.......oh and he's a Mackem not a Geordie.

He got around a bit didn't he.  A wealth of experience.  I've got a good feeling about this.

Nearly all those transfers were for a nice 6 figure fee, of which the player used to get 5%......a rough calculation puts that at 100K.....good money for an 80' early 90's player, but a couple of  weeks money for todays mob.
