To anyone who might be interested found a 20m length of orange ribbon, for £3 on the net, no idea how many little individual ribbons could be made, or if anyone had an time to do so, but it'd be a damn cheap way to get a lot of people to show support.

There's shop in Haverlock Street in town, in between Iceland and Commercial Road where you can get orange ribbon (a reel of) for about £2.59.

Anyone think these would be any good? They use the equivalent of 12 hours worth of chemical reaction in normal glow sticks in 5 minutes.
Apparently they are used by the US military as a substitute for flares.

I feel the need to buy one, even if not for the Orange Revolution.  Shouldn't be a problem in using them.
