i had a small outburst at work, listening to it on the radio, i was begging for my phone not to ring whilst listening, it does, the minute i ainswer it i hear No 61, at this point i am trying to concentrate on the draw and what the person on the phone was saying, i didn't hear crystal palace get drawn before swindon, and i heared bristol shitty after so i lept up in joy thinking me had drawn shitty at home, only to be told by bennett that i was a dumb polish boy and that we had palace away, i was pissed off.

We've won our last 3 games at Selhurst vs. Palace. Granted 1999 (x2) and 1996.

Palace get around 17,000-20,000. (4,000 vs. Notts County in the League Cup)

Don Rogers will be happy.

muahahaha 20 mins from the mrs's house.

couldn't be happier, my old boss (who's palace) text me last night saying about how he hopes we play each other next round, i agree. palace are shit and taylor has got them playing wimbledon style football.

atleast we know something about the team we're playing, instead of tamworth or someone crap like that!

Looks like best route is Swindon > Paddington > Victoria > Selhurst

Departs Swindon 8.10 arrives 11:10. FGW website shows buses from Swindon to Reading that weekend.

It's one of the worst.

Not a side we can be confident of beating, probably go out.

Not a big side that will generate a large crowd, so not much money in it.

Bit of a pisser to be honest.

I'll still go though!!

Middling draw.....as pointed out earlier, there are more shit draws than good in the third round.....you don't want anyone in your own league....best avoid the non league, and there are plenty of norvern no marks in L1 and CCC.....

Palace are not exactly wonderful, its relatively near and they get decent crowds.

Can't we promise the Palace faithful that Don Rogers will turn up and do a bit of waving at Half-Time? They love him don't they?

Also, We didn't do to bad in the pre season friendly either. They had a strong team out. We more than matched them.

Tis true but there are so many non-glamorous championship sides who would have met the same criteria and yet would have been an absolute fucker to get to..

Seems that cheapest train fare is two singles at £17 each.
