i've never found him funny, mostly just irritating.

Robin Williams to me will always be Mork out of Mork and Mindy in the same way that however many films or TV programmes Trevor Eve appears in, to me he will always be Shoestring (which of course is his real name as we all know). Similarly, it doesn't matter how many James Bond films Daniel Craig goes on to make, to me he will always be Geordie out of Our Friends in The North. Mark Fowler out of Eastenders isn't really Mark Fowler at all. We all know he is really Tucker Jenkins out of Grange Hill, that's his real name.......etc etc etc.....
