fuck me, i forgot just how good he was. he could score any sort of goal, i don't think i've seen many players who could score so often from such tight angles. that goal against qpr is one of my favourites. i miss sammy

It will if we are all prepared to put the work in and make our voices heard to make it happen What Arriba being the fan's rep? I'm voting for Flammable Ben, to be the fan's rep Thanks for the nomination reg. I've always imagined that at board meetings everybody sits down with cigars and drinks brandy. I'm not much or a cigar and brandy man myself so I think the first thing to change would be the introduction of Stella, Red Wine and plain old Lambert and Butlers. Actually I have been considering starting on a pipe. I've always liked the idea of smoking a pipe. Like a young drunk Gandalf. Should be no problem, because under the PaulD austerity regime...Brandy will be banned as a flammmable substance.....anyone ever tried setting a can of Stela on fire?

That goal against Q.P.R. was proper ace, the one where he skips past 2 defender's before wrong footing the keeper.

Left one in the freezer a bit long once so had to put it on the bbq to defrost. Frozen then cooked stella. Not something I'd normally drink but unfortunately it was the last can. Anyway pub time.

It was at this point during the wycombe game in '04 that stands out in my memory. charges down the defender, steps inside, left footed: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/trebblej82/Parkin.jpgIt's never going in at this point.. 2-0

Has anyone got any links for those Leeds goals?, the game that we went 2-0 up in only for Robinson to equalise at the death.
It'd be nice to us all going mental as that game still holds some great memories.

I don't want to be a parade pisser-onner, but even if the consortium took charge in time for the January transfer window, isn't Parkin out injured again? I don't think he's played since October and I think he will be out for a while yet.
Other than that he would be just the job for us. Parkin is class and would still get 20+ goals from January onwards even with a broken ankle and crutches. Can you say the same about our current strike force... Also, notice on the video how many HEADERS from DUKE crosses....
