Tis true, the only foreigners in the part where my family are from is the English.  You don't get much crime in the middle of a peat bog where my family live jan.  I am sure plenty of crime goes on in the bigger towns.

there is an influx of foreigners in ireland now like here.
eastern europeans and asians are now in greater numbers in the emerald isle.
saw quite a few when i was over there last year.
nowhere near as many as here though

I'm not sure why but I've never been to Ireland, the Irish people I have so far met in my life have pretty much all been top notch people.  And I love Father Ted so I should really get off my arse and go.

You should go jan, you won't get a bad meal or a dodgy pint out there.  Some area's are stunning, the beaches are fantastic.

true, but there are asians too.dont know their origin but saw quite a few of them in galway
