Also, I forgot in my rant ^^^^, but what the hell is with the not competing for the ball. Almost every 50-50 ball our players stood off and let the opposition control it then trying to block the pass rather than going in to try and win the ball.

High balls especially.

And the front two falling over everything. Rubbish.

So overall, everybody gets atleast a 6, quite a ew get 7 or 8, but te midfield and strikers were poor?

This is why I find it hard take people on forums seriously, half of them just talk crap. it would be fine if I was at the game because I would be able to work out which half was right!!

5's to Ifil, Timlin and Peacock; 6's to the wingers and Weston and 7's for the full backs and Roberts thanks to his goals (5 otherwise).

j smith  7.5 - guy behind me hated him but he took the ball fowards and linked well with ricky
nicho 7 - took ball forwards, no real idea once he got there though
williams 8 - just did well dealing with what bury er threw at us (nothing)
jerel 8 - same as above
ricky 8- ace second half, their left back didn't look comfy around him
brown 6.5 - didn't do too much
timlin 6.5 - nice touches but midfield didn't get into it
weston 7 - took ball forwards, tried to link to strikers well
peacock 6 - needs to fucking stay on his fucking feet OR dive and fucking dish some out, defenders cannot be scared of him at all.
roberts 7- made two goals but i think he tries too much again, i'd rather see him closer to the box

lukas 5 - no clue

all in all we won, bury gave nothing other than set pieces. we need to work on strikers and midfielders working together.

he got quite good at blowing his whistle. you can't fault his technique, therefore 2

Phil Smith Little to do but dealt with crosses well and his distribution is excellent. 6
Jack Smith Disappointing, didn't get forward to such great effect as usual and had a torrid time in defence. 5
Andy Nicholas Solid defensively and creative offensively. 7 MOTM
Jerel Ifil Looked a little nervy and showed glimpses of the bad Jerel Ifil we're used to. I wonder if he's watched too much Twin Peaks. 5
Ady Williams Solid in the air and on the ground but a few too many aimless punts upfield. 6
Ricky Shakes A real threat. Crossing still poor but at least he looks as if he knows what to do now. 6
Curtis Weston Poor, won few tackles and made few decent passes. Lost the ball often. 5
Michael Timlin Average but some nice touches and one or two good tackles and passes, wouldn't rate him higher than anything we've already got at the club. 6
Aaron Brown Nicho did most of his leg work and he lost the ball far too often. 5
Lee Peacock Utterly ineffective, entirely anonymous. 3
Christian Roberts Lazy, disinterested, selfish, greedy but scored a good goal. 6

Lukas barely touched the ball and Zaaboub made some good runs.

The ref was alright bar a few key decisions, let the game "flow" at least.
