Never heard of him Smiley will have to reserve judgment.

As an aside, what happened to McDermott?

Cheers Reg. Did he play against us in the cup. I guess not but I'm never that observant at the best of times.

Sounds very promising

Michael Timlin is an Irish footballer playing for Fulham Football Club in London, England.

A hugely talented central midfielder; Timlin suffered a frustrating 2003/04 campaign after a back condition then a broken metatarsal effectively ruled him out for the whole season.

Timlin started his Fulham F.C. career as a left winger but was converted to central midfield by Fulham’s then Academy Director, Steve Kean. The switch paid remarkable dividends for the player as he made rapid through the Academy’s ranks and on to the international stage with the Republic of Ireland international football squad.

Last season Timlin made two appearances for Fulham F.C. and captained the Republic of Ireland under 21 side to victory in the Madeira Cup.

No don't think he did......McDermott although largely shit, will always be remembered for the free kick routine goal against the Sh**ty.

"From what I remember of him he was a midfielder who we played on the left wing so hard to tell really if he was played out of position. Never impressed me. He was also on loan at Scunny and they weren't impressed either."
