Sturrock's first signing will be Marino Keith.

Funny how you should say that,a Plymouth fan at work last night said that Sturrock will go for Coughlan and Marino Keith.

Coughlan would be a fantastic signing but a little on the optimistic side I fear. He would have to really like Luggy to up sticks and move south and drop two divisions as well.

(And I think he is club captain as well!)

Living close to Home Park I've overheard plenty of fans talking about the Sturrock appointment - it's all been positive.

My boss is a Plymouth fan and he was disappointed he didn't stay in Devon for longer.

It's standard for managers to bring their trusted players with them. However, what with the bitter conclusion between Sturrock and Allen I can't see business being done in the near future for an important player like Graham Coughlan. People like Marino Keith are likely targets but he's not really what we're looking for.

Did he retire through injury?  Or just retire through choice, as retirement through injury does mean something.  Insurance pays out, on the basis you do not play again  - professionally.
